GARNETT — Garnett will soon have a new evening and weekend hotspot when the renovated Five Spot opens its doors this month. Jesus Garcia will be the primary operator. He’s the brother of Victor Garcia who just opened Bellini’s Italian Cafe next door to the Five Spot. They are both in the same complex as the remodeled Economy Inn on the north edge of Garnett along U.S. 59. One of the specialty drinks to be offered at the Five Spot is a Bellini, which Garcia describes as an Italian margarita made with peaches, vodka and white wine served frozen or on the rocks. The bar will offer a pool table area, a dart board, arcade games, juke box, dance floor with lighting and a flat screen television.
