OTTAWA – Gov. Mark Parkinson’s latest state spending cuts have had an impact on Ottawa. Ottawa chief financial officer Scott Bird said the city will postpone its plan to seek bids for repair work on K-68 in eastern Ottawa until later this year. Parkinson said he wants to halt spending for road maintenance for the rest of this year and next year.
