OSAWATOMIE — An Osawatomie man has died of a gunshot wound he received Sunday. Jack Owens, 58, died in a Kansas City hospital after he was shot in the abdomen in the 1100 block of Chestnut. Police told the Osawatomie Journal that the shooting is under investigation but doesn’t appear to be a murder.
