WICHITA–Watch out for June 10 this summer. It seems that on that day, more tornadoes occur in Kansas than on any other day of the year. The National Climatic Data Center says at least one tornado has touched down in Kansas at least 22 times on June 10–6 times more than any other day. A total of 53 tornadoes have touched down on June 10 since 1950.
