OTTAWA — Ottawa city commissioners Linda Reed and Sara Humm are in Washington this week for the National League of Cities conference. Besides, attending the conference, they intend to talk to the state’s senatorial and Congressional delegation, said city manager Richard Nienstedt. Commissioners say the trips are useful because they give city officials contacts for attracting federal grants.
