OSAWATOMIE — The Osawatomie Volunteer Fire Department said a fire at a farm north of Osawatomie Monday caused about $200,000 in damage. When they arrived, firefighters found a barn in the 32000 block of Plum Creek Road engulfed in fire and several farm implements on fire. Firefighters from the Fontana station and from Paola brought more tankers. Firefighters said the fire was fueled by petroleum products and 480 hay bales.
