OSAWATOMIE–By any measure, there’s a lot of people in Miami County that have unclaimed property in the Kansas Treasurer’s Office. State Treasurer Dennis McKinney stopped in Osawatomie recently to raise awareness of the property. He says his office currently is holding over $750,000 in unclaimed property for almost 5500 individuals and businesses in Miami County.
