TOPEKA — A 43-year-old Baldwin City man was taken to a Topeka hospital after a one-car accident six miles south of Topeka Tuesday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Scott Thurlow was driving north on U.S. 75 when he swerved to miss a deer and hit a guardrail and a bridge.
