OTTAWA — A new city study says that meeting federal regulations on handling stormwater runoff could eventually cost the city more than $30 million over the years.
City planning director Wynndee Lee and city management intern Casey Sharp reviewed the plan for the city planning commission Wednesday. The study identified 21 projects that could become the basis of a capital improvement project list for stormwater projects, Sharp said. City officials will work on a stormwater utility proposal through this year.
