POMONA–A rural Pomona woman was critically injured in a motorcycle wreck last night. Franklin County Undersheriff Steve Lunger says Angela Wright was riding a motorcycle on Colorado Road just north of Pomona when it left the road and struck a pole. She was taken by helicopter to KU Medical Center with critical injuries. The hospital would not release her current condition because of privacy rules. Lunger says Wright was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
