OTTAWA — An 11-year-old was injured this morning after being hit by a car. Ottawa Police Sgt. Doug Waterman said the case is under investigation. The young bicyclist was hit by a car while crossing Seventh Street at the Prairie Spirit Trail, Waterman said. A Franklin County EMS ambulance took the child to the hospital but Waterman didn’t know the extent of injuries immediately.
