OTTAWA–One man is in the hospital following a two car wreck on I-35 around 11 am near Ottawa. Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Travis Jones says a northbound white car driven by 20 year old Dustin A. Kluge of Edgerton experienced a steering mechanism malfunction, causing it to go on the right shoulder and hit an unoccupied parked car. The victim is not believed to suffer life-threatening injuries, but he was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The accident happened about 1 3/4 miles south of the I-35/K-68 junction.
