TOPEKA — Attorney General Steve Six said his office will once again host open government regional training meetings in honor of Sunshine Week in June and July.  The sessions are designed to bring together public officials, Kansas citizens and the media to better understand the Kansas Open Records Act and the Kansas Open Meetings Act, he said.  The workshops are free and open to the public, media and public officials but registration is required.  The closest meetings are at the Johnson County Administration Building in Olathe on June 29, at the Pittsburg Municipal Auditorium June 30 and at the Topeka Municipal Auditorium July 1.  The deadline to register is May 24.  Check the web site at www.ksag.org.
