GARNETT — The Anderson County Hospital Long Term Care nursing facility has been ranked one of the top nursing facilities in Kansas. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently ranked Long Term Care as third among 341 nursing facilities in the state. The CMS score is based upon inspectors’ surveys and current residents’ data in terms of quality measures, nursing staff ratios and care provided to residents. Long Term Care received five out of five stars in all three categories, one of few facilities to get top scores in all categories. Earlier this year, Long Term Care was recognized by U.S. News & World Reports for excellence in nursing home care across the U.S.
