OTTAWA — Six-year-old Jesse Peters was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital Friday evening by his mother after he was bitten by a dog in the 2600 block of Kentucky Road southwest of Ottawa. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said it contacted the dog’s owner who will take the dog to a veterinarian for observation.
