OTTAWA — Class will be in session for Franklin County juniors and seniors this week and homework isn’t encouraged. The lesson from County Attorney Heather Jones and Franklin County Sheriff Craig Davis – don’t drink and drive. The National Save a Life Tour will be offered to Central Heights and Wellsville students on Tuesday, and West Franklin and Ottawa students Wednesday. Osage County students are taking the class today. Jones said the students begin with an assembly about the impact of drunken driving. Break-out sessions include a drunken-driving simulator and information on teen driving rules and DUI laws, she said.
