OTTAWA — Franklin County needs disaster victims. With one phone call or e-mail, you can qualify. ECKAN Volunteer Center’s Lisa Rivers said at least 30 people are needed to serve as victims of the tornado planned as part of this weekend’s disaster drill.
Contact Rivers at the ECKAN Volunteer Center by e-mailing [email protected] or call 242-7450. Friday and Saturday’s drill will involve a wide variety of state and local emergency officials as well as students in Ottawa University’s Interdisciplinary Studies Disaster Assessment, Planning and Response course. The exercise will be one of the largest disaster simulations in the area.
