OTTAWA — Mid America Nutrition Program has received a $2,000 grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation in conjunction with the 10th annual Homewood Saddle Club trail ride earlier this month. Mid America Nutrition’s Sharon Geiss said the grant will her group to continue to supply daily hot meals for area seniors. State budget cuts are causing a huge concern to the future of the nutrition program, she said.
