OTTAWA — Fourth Judicial District Community Corrections director Keith Clark says he won’t know what his budget for next year will be until a few weeks before the start of the state fiscal year July 1. Clark told Franklin County commissioners Monday he’s been told by the state to either do a budget based on this year with no changes or a budget with a seven-percent cut. The state funding of judicial districts’ community corrections departments have been varied and Clark said he has little idea what his budget will look like. The budget covers local corrections programs in Franklin, Osage, Anderson and Coffey counties.
