GARNETT — The Garnett police said they have arrested a suspect in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a 16-year-old girl walking on the Prairie Spirit Trail in Garnett last week. Garnett Police Chief John Leinweber says the suspect is Kelly Thompson, 36, Delphos. He is in the Anderson County Jail.
