OSAWATOMIE — The Osawatomie Library wants you to lend them your letters. The library seeks letters of support for the library’s application for a $50,000 state grant. Librarian Elizabeth Trigg told the Osawatomie Journal if the library gets the grant, the money would be used to help furnish the new children’s department. The library has received a grant to remake the library and the children’s department will be moved to the basement. Trigg said the letters are due May 4 and can be left at the library. The library is also seeking donations of at least $250 for a state tax credit program. Those are also due May 4.
