OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Shane Muhl, 38, Ottawa, was driving north on Old 50 Highway late Friday night when his car went into the ditch, through a bush line and ended up in a residential yard. He was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital for treatment where he was released. He wasn’t released for long.
He was taken to the Franklin County jail where he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was released on $1,000 bond.
