LAWRENCE — A 20-year-old Kansas City man surrendered Sunday afternoon in connection with the report of a man with a gun in Kansas University’s largest residence hall Friday afternoon. Samuel Lennell Moore turned himself in to KU police. Moore isn’t a KU student, university officials said. He is also wanted for failure to appear in court on theft and criminal trespass charges. KU issued a campus-wide warning and police searched McCollum hall Friday afternoon a neighbor overheard a couple arguing in an adjacent room and the man yelling “Where’s my gun?”
