OTTAWA — Community Corrections’ Keith Clark received permission from Franklin County commissioners Monday to spend nearly $62,000 he didn’t think he would have.
Because of the state’s financial crises, Clark said he figured the state would take back the money and he refrained from spending. However, the state didn’t touch the money and he said he’s limited to using it for buying equipment and supplies. Although Clark’s department serves four counties, because Franklin County is the largest, the commissioners handles the overall money matters for Community Corrections and Juvenile Justice.
