GARNETT — A Garnett teen has received one year of supervised probation and was ordered to pay restitution to the Holy Angels Church, Garnett, for his part in a break-in and vandalism at the church. 17-year-old Derrik States had pleaded guilty to burglary of a building not used as a dwelling. The church was vandalized in February and several items were taken. All of the items were recovered. A second teen, Robert States, 16, Garnett; was also charged. His next appearance in Anderson County District Court is May 25.
