WELLSVILLE — A 14-year-old softball player was injured Wednesday evening during a practice at Wellsville. Wellsville Fire Chief Robert Thomas said the girl was taken by helicopter to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Because of privacy regulations, further details weren’t immediately available.
