OTTAWA–If you want to mail food to the hungry, you can do that tomorrow. Ottawa Postmaster Will Macintyre says you can place some non-perishable food items by your mailbox, and the mail carrier will pick it up and deliver it to a local food pantry. Ideal items would be canned goods, dried cereal, pasta and soups. This is only good tomorrow, May 8.
