OTTAWA — A fire early this morning damaged two garages and a parked car in the 700 block of South Cherry Street in Ottawa. The fire started in a detached garage and it spread to another detached garage next door and a parked car, said Fire Chief Jeff Carner. The damage was estimated at less than $5,000, he said. The cause hasn’t been determined, he said.
