OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission’s June 16 morning meeting will be even earlier – it will start at 8 a.m. instead of 9:30 a.m. City manager Richard Nienstedt said that the Kansas Department of Transportation wants to have a ceremonial ribbon-cutting for the new U.S. 59 expressway, which recently opened, in the morning. A location for the ceremony hasn’t been set, he said.
