OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie residents have been raising money to pay the medical expenses of a 27-year-old Osawatomie woman. The Osawatomie Journal reported that Anna Sinclair Crockett is awaiting a kidney transplant at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Doctors found that her kidneys had tiny blood clots that keep them from filtering her blood. Her family has no health insurance. A series of fundraisers have been scheduled for her. Friends have started a Facebook page called “Anna’s Journey.”
