OTTAWA — The antique money road show starring State Treasurer Dennis McKinney will stop in Ottawa Wednesday. McKinney will be at the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Wednesday afternoon at 2 as part of his unclaimed property returns tour. McKinney’s staff hits various communities to help Kansans receive unclaimed property being held by the treasurer’s office. His office holds a variety of property including inactive savings and checking accounts, uncashed checks, stock shares and bonds, dividend checks, insurance proceeds, mineral royalties, utility deposits and the contents of about 16,000 safe deposit boxes.
