OTTAWA — The American Eagle Outfitters Foundation has donated $5,000 to Ottawa Recreation Commission for the community scholarship program and for the fall youth soccer league. ORC director Therron Dieckmann said the scholarship program helps youth and adults pay fees for rec programs, which helps more than a hundred families take part in ORC programs each year. He said the American Eagle donation will fund about one-fourth of the scholarships this year. The soccer donation will play for jerseys and logos.
