KANSAS CITY — A Rantoul man has been sentenced to nearly 22 years in federal prison for producing child pornography. U.S. Attorney Lanny Welch said Ronald Schulz, 54, pleaded guilty earlier. Schulz sent images of child pornography over the Internet to an undercover officer in Sacramento, Calif., Welch said. The officer traced the images to Schulz in Rantoul. Federal agents searched Schulz’s home last fall and found thousands images of child pornography, including photos of a 2-month-old girl who was a relative of Schulz, Welch said.
