TOPEKA — The Kansas 150 Advisory Committee has launched a Web site for communities to become involved in the state’s 150th birthday next year. Executive director Deb Barker said the Franklin County Historical Society is already on board, the project of digitizing area historical information and documents is financed in part by a grant from the Kansas Humanities Commission for the sesquintennial. Barker said the information will be posted on a historical society Web site later. The state’s Web site is ks150.org.
