OTTAWA — Once Neosho County Community College builds its new campus in along K-68 in eastern Ottawa, Ransom Memorial Hospital will be ready to help the college build its medical curriculum, said Larry Felix, RMH chief executive officer. The new campus will include a mockup of a hospital to serve as a classroom for medical technology and nursing courses, he said. Having a ready supply of training nurses and medical therapists and technicians will be an asset for the area, he said. The hospital will make more staffers available to help teach Neosho students and will offer more programs in which students get hands-on experience at RMH, Felix said.
