BALDWIN CITY — Baker University graduate Jesse Kern, Osawatomie, got an early start. While at Osawatomie High School, Kern said he visited Baker for honor band performances. And he received a good impression and decided to attend. Kern was among those graduates taking part in undergraduate Baker commencement Sunday afternoon in Baldwin City. He was named Baker’s Student Senate Outstanding Male Scholar.
