OTTAWA — Franklin County has filed counter-arguments in a federal lawsuit filed by Dodson Aircraft. County administrator Lisa Johnson told county commissioners that the county’s attorneys have filed answers to papers filed by Dodson. Johnson said commissioners will hear about the outcome in coming months. Dodson is suing the county, Sheriff Craig Davis, Ottawa attorney Blaine Finch and others over the seizure of an airplane ordered by an out-of-state court. The first court hearing in federal court in Kansas City is next week.
