OTTAWA — A 37-year-old Pomona man died Sunday from his injuries from a one-car accident Saturday. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said Peter Nickel was driving in the 1900 block of Sand Creek Road northwest of Ottawa when he lost control of his car and it overturned in the ditch. He was taken by air ambulance to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, where he died. The cause of the accident was still under investigation.
