OTTAWA — City and county planning officials are looking at a series of changes to the Ottawa Neighborhood Revitalization program. Ottawa city planning and codes director Wynndee Lee told county commissioners Monday that the program could be expanded to other areas outside of the Ottawa downtown area and there will likely be changes concerning improvements to houses or rental housing. New windows and changes to roofs could reflect an impact on the look of a neighborhood, she said. The program includes the city, county and school district. The program offers property tax breaks to businesses and individuals for major improvements inside the revitalization zones.
