TOPEKA — It’s Addison and Aiden. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said those were the most popular names given to Kansas babies last year — Addison for girls and Aiden for boys. Other names for in last year’s top five for girls — Emma, Isabella, Chloe and Kaylee. Abigail and Chloe cracked the top 10 last year and Lillian, Allison and Avery were new to the top 25. Aiden is the most popular boy’s name in Kansas for the sixth straight year. Jackson, Kaden, Brayden and Ethan round out the top five for boys. The trend for boys’ names continues to Celtic-sounding or Biblical names. Noah got into the top 10 last year. Elijah made the top 25 for the first time.
