OTTAWA — Ransom Memorial Hospital has been making a series of steps to cut out paper medical records and go all-electronic. One of the most significant steps goes on-line this month, said RMH CEO Larry Felix. That includes an organization of the e-records system at the hospital. Health workers can click on various tabs that will give up-to-the-second reports on medications, lab reports and treatments, he said. Felix said the federal government is pushing hospitals to convert to all-electronic records.
