OTTAWA — Seven-year-old Rodney White has lost his more-than-two-year-long battle with cancer. He was the son of Scott and Dana White. During his battle, the community rallied behind the family and did fundraisers for them. He asked that one of those fundraisers, the Rodney White Hot Rod Golf Tournament, be used to raise money for other children facing severe medical problems. A funeral mass will be Saturday morning at 10 at Sacred Heart Church.
