OTTAWA — During Wednesday’s county commission meeting, Gene Hirt, a member of the Williamsburg City Council, objected to a decision by county staff not to sell culverts at the county’s cost to Williamsburg, which he said was a reversal of county policy. Hirt was cut off by Chairman David Hood for taking too much time.  County administrator Lisa Johnson said that in the past, the county has given a list of the county vendors for such items directly to the cities. The coucommissioners will discuss the policy later, she said.
