WASHINGTON — Mcdonald’s has recalled nearly 12 million “Shrek Forever After 3D” collectable drinking glasses. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the 16-ounce glasses came in four designs — Shrek, Fiona, Puss N’ Boots and Donkey. They were sold at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide from May into June this year for about $2. The designs on the glasses contain cadmium, a hazardous heavy metal. The Consumer Product Safety Commission said long-term exposure to cadmium can cause health risks. Stop using the glasses and contact McDonalds for a full refund.
