TOPEKA – U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins filed this morning for re-election to her 2nd District Congressional seat. Although two other Republicans have said they will challenge her for the nomination, Jenkins is the only Republican to have filed. The only other candidate for the seat is Democrat Thomas Koch of Leavenworth. The deadline for all candidates except independents to file is noon Thursday.
