MELVERN — Saturday is National Get Out Doors Day and area lakes and the city of Melvern want to help you. A 5-K fun run and walk will be Saturday morning at 9 at the Melvern Riverfront Park. There’s a $10 entry fee, which includes a Yt-shirt. Pomona and Melvern lakes will waive entry fees Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A kids’ fishing derby will be Saturday morning at 10 at Pomona State Park.
