OTTAWA — Chad Omitt from the National Weather Service at Topeka will bring his tornado machine for Ottawa Library’s free summer reading program “Terribly Terrific Thunderstorms & Tornadoes” this afternoon at 2 at Elliott Hall at the First Baptist Church. The program includes videos of tornadoes and storms, said librarian Shannon Leonard. The program on wild weather fits with the summer reading program “Make a Splash,” she said. The summer reading program goes through July 30.
