WASHINGTON — Voters will have plenty of choices about who they want in the U.S. Senate. Republican Congressmen Jerry Moran and Todd Tiahrt have been hammering each other with zest, trying to out-conservative one another. However, there are two other lesser-known Republicans in the senatorial race, Tom Little of Mound City and Bob Londerholm of Overland Park. There’s an even more packed primary for Democrats. There are five candidates and all from the Kansas City area, Robert Conroy, state senator David Haley, Baker University official Lisa Johnston, Charles Schollenberger and Patrick Wiesner. That’s not all. Libertarian Michael Dann of Baldwin City and the Reform Party’s Joe Nellis of Overland Park will be on the ballot for November.
