KANSAS CITY — Several Ottawa residents involved in a methamphetamine ring will do federal time. U.S. Attorney Lanny Welch said 25 people were convicted in Operation Press One, an international drug ring with its terminus in Kansas City. Among those from Ottawa who were sentenced include Robynn Woods, five years; Vincent Ray Marez, 10 years; Baynard Jack Sitlington, 14 years; and Kurtis Wall, nearly six years. Jose Jimenez-Alvarez, 46, of Kansas City confessed to being the main supplier for the Ottawa ring and he was sentenced to nearly 13 years in federal prison, Welch said.
