OLATHE — Two passengers in a truck driven by a Wellsville man were taken to Shawnee Mission Medical Center as a result of a traffic accident on I-35 Monday. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Harold Neel Jr., 29, Wellsville was driving his truck on I-35 near the Old 56 junction when he lost control and the truck spun, bounced off the concrete divider and hit a freight truck driven by Frank Rinchinuso Jr., Seymour, Iowa. Troopers said Rinchinuso’s truck then hit a car driven by Gayle Strahan of Olathe. Neel’s passengers, Sharon Thompson, 53, and Edward Thompson, 50, both of Peoria, Ariz.; were taken to the hospital for possible injuries. Two other passengers in Neel’s truck weren’t injured. Neither Rinchinuso nor Strahan were injured.
